THE DEAL: Boutique fitness personified. Core Collective brings some of London’s best trainers to deliver high-energy, intense conditioning classes across TRX, circuit training, weight-training, power yoga, spinning and Pilates, all down in the sleekest of spaces. Choose to pay-as-you-go or commit - the studio offers drop-ins as well as full-blown memberships or multiple class packs.

THE WORK-OUT: Lift + Row is described on the Core Collective website as ‘ The ultimate full-body workout’. Sounds a bit dramatic we know but this forty five minute class really does deliver on all-round fitness goals combining strength and high intensity interval training. You’ll work on cardio, strength and endurance systems all in one. Expect varying sequences of weights and floor exercises with rowing intervals, often done in a pair so you work as a team. Our bad-ass trainer Heloise was a stickler on form (but in a good way so we wouldn’t put our back out lol) and through in some tough AMRAP challenges for good measure. Motivating, challenging and a bit different from your usual HIIT studio work-out we left feeling strong and an on an endorphin high. And also carrying our freshly made protein smoothie courtesy of the Collective Kitchen. There’s a plush hangout areas with sofas, healthy cafe, art on the walls that you can buy and the changing rooms are kitted out with big white fluffy towels and luxury Malin + Goetz products. Hello shall we just live here!?

FYI: Core Collective have a second studio in Knightsbridge if you’re interested.
