Rapha's clubhouse RIDES
BERLIN'S CYCLE SCENE IS LEGIT. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO JUMP ON THAT WITH THE EXPERTS AT RAPHA WHO WILL SORT YOU OUT. BIG TIME.
WHEN: Every Saturday there's an organised free ride. Be sure to keep a hawk-eye out on the website for upcoming special events too.
WHERE: Rapha's clubhouse, Alte Schönhauser Straße 5, 10119, Berlin.
THE DEAL: Whether you're a pro cycler with all the gear or just someone who enjoys taking a ride in the outdoors Berlin has it all; flat and cycle friendly roads and riding options in all directions. Rapha organises group rides every week at their Berlin clubhouse - so you can ride and chat at the same time. Every week from 10am-2pm they will set a different ride route to follow across the city . In the North you'll encounter the Barnim Nature Park - think lakes, river valleys and moors. Routes to the West are a bit more crowded with well-known cycle tracks leading towards Teufelsberg ( known as the Devil's Mountain). South out of the city, past the airport is flat open farmland and tree-line roads - the ideal conditions for beginners. Finally if the route that weekend heads eastwards then you'll face rolling hills and more of a challenging ride. Either way you don't need to worry about a thing. Just turn up with your bike, water and a stash of snacks ready to go. Rapha will take care of the rest.
THE PRICE: Nada. It's totally and completely free! Don't say we don't hook you UP.
BEST FOR: Outdoorsy types or cycling keenos after a hassle-free weekend ride.
