BITE CLUB - July edition

We’re currently privileged to witness THE weather forecast shocker of the year - that its hat hat hat. sunburn is actually a possibility and it doesn't seem to be cooling off anytime soon, which means outdoor events are on the agenda and we've got one of the best lined up for you here with bite club....

WHERE:  Eat and drink all day at Bite Club's July installation at Hoppetosse/Arena Berlin // Eichenstrasse 4, U1 Schlesisches Tor.

THE DEAL: Berlin's original street food party where you can fill your boots with food and booze at a (hopefully sunny) Spreeside location.

THE FOOD: The food line-up looks awesome; tuck into chilli pakoras from Pakistani food wizard Mama Shabz, cochinita tacos from Taco Kween, a heart-attack inducing Bacon Cheeseburger from Tommi's Burger Joint truck and middle-eastern stuffed pittas from XXX. If you've committed yourself to a nice of complete indulgence well done you - the homemade cookies and gourmet ice cream by Jones ice cream should be right up your alley. We've been told that ice-lollies by Paletas Berlin might also be in the mix - flavours include piña colada, strawberry-prosecco, cucumber-lemon and hibiscus-raspberry. And if a night of street food sounds like a maze of nightmarish dietary intolerances or problematic principles then fear not. There are plenty of gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options too with the likes of nutrition kings at Bowl and Korean favourites at Son Kitchen.

THE DRINKS: After all that food you'll need a wake up call - knock back the perfect noisette (that’s an espresso with a little foam) from Biarritz local garcon de café. We've also heard rumours of whisky stations and various deadly cocktails to take you in to the midnight hours.

THE PRICE: Make sure to take cash with you, as few vendors will accept card. There's also a small entrance fee to get in to the club. Once you're in though plates start around €5 upwards.

PAY BY: €ash only.

BEST FOR: When you're hungry and one plate of food isn't enough. Go with a group if you can to try out more dishes!
