THE WORKOUT: Friday night 18:15pm Kettlebells + TRX class with Rory S. Fifty minutes of full body sweating and strengthening. Burn calories while building muscle and perfecting your technique on the straps. The boutique setting also makes this one of the slickest, sexiest weekend workouts you can find in the city. Let the expert, the lovely Rory guide you through the hard-core rounds of TRX rows, press-ups, jump squats, Tricep presses and core work. Then get your heart-rate pumping even faster with Kettlebell swings, goblet squats and Russian twists. This is tough, but we loved that there’s a great balance between muscle building and more endurance style training. At the end of the class there’s a beautiful few minutes where the music dies down for a good ol’ stretch and and you can take a moment to chill and appreciate what you’ve done.

THE PARTY: Barrio Latino at Juju’s starting from 7pm. This is a multisensory night of electronic world fusion & folklore music with a banging DJ set, Mexican Calacas, Mezcal and tailored visual projections to take you around the world without leaving the capital… All for FREE! If you’re worried about getting peckish, don’t be. The guys at Juju’s didn’t want to bore you with the same food again and again. So they decided it would be way more fun to cast the net out to London’s best pop ups with a focus on trending international street foods so they feature a rotation of London’s finest street food pop ups, every 3-6 months. Currently its Chunky Buddha - New York born and East London raised, half Vietnamese & half Chinese serving up ‘Asian comfort food'. Think sticky wings, katsu burgers, crispy duck tacos and vegan kimchi fries. One of the most popular dishes on the menu is the Chunky’s Buddha Bowl; pick your base of rice or noodles and then you add your protein, with various toppings, dressings and crunchy extras. Everyone has their favourite so choose yours; maybe the udon noodles with crispy duck or ginger soy chicken with pickled veggies and kimchi, or the red rice with Char-su pork belly with pickled veggies or go totally veggie with Tofu, Jasmine rice, pickled vegetables, kimchi and a fried egg. Wash it all down with libation at the bar. Drinks range from craft beers to cocktails and of course mezcal (Juju is pretty much a mezcaleria). The best bit is there is no one type of person that visits Juju’s, that’s what we love. It’s just great vibes, positive energy, tasty cocktails and a hella good time.
