THE FOOD: Despite being in the middle of tourist-city in the summer (Barceloneta is the most popular beach in the city), this place isn’t a tourist-trap. In fact its a healthy, organic, sustainable foodie haven right on the beach with a cute little open-air patio. Plus its right next to the ever-popular Surf House so if you’re fed up with the ridiculous queues then head next door for similar healthy, fresh fare. Here you can hit the wellness wagon - or screw it and go back to burger basics. All in all this place has a strong plant-based food game for healthy eaters and junk -food cravings. The menu showcases a fusion of Brazilian, Thai and Indonesian healthy highlights all at once - poke and acai bowls - alongside street-food classics like burgers, nachos and salads. This is food that nurtures your body & soul by good people. The spicy tuna and avocado poke is a definite winner, as is the fresh salmon poke with red rice, papaya , salad and ginger.
